Copilot Studio is Microsoft’s tool for creating and managing AI agents and their associated workflows.
What does this mean in practice?
It lets you design how a solution behaves and connect it to selected data and services. Before building an agent, define its task, intended users and operating boundaries.
Example use case
A company creates an assistant to answer questions about internal procedures. The team tests its answers, checks access to sources and assigns responsibility for keeping them up to date.
Things to consider
Deployment methods, features and billing models affect costs. Do not assume that every agent is covered by an existing Microsoft 365 licence.
