Power Automate is Microsoft’s tool for building workflows that connect applications and carry out repetitive tasks.
What does this mean in practice?
You define what starts the process and which steps follow. Information transfers, notifications and updates can then happen without manual intervention.
Example use case
When an employee submits a leave request, their manager receives an approval request. Once the decision is recorded, the employee is notified and the request status is updated. This is an example of a process whose scope is agreed before implementation.
Things to consider
Licensing requirements depend on factors such as features and connectors. Before work starts, check what your current plan supports and whether additional costs apply.
